18A.  Special Forces Officer.

180A.  Special Forces Warrant Officer.

18B.  Special Forces Weapons Sergeant.

18C.  Special Forces Engineer Sergeant.  Sometimes called a "demo Sergeant".

18D.  Special Forces Medical Sergeant.

18E.  Special Forces Communications Sergeant.

18F. Special Forces Intelligence Sergeant.

18X.  Candidate for Special Forces training. Enlisted "off the street" with no prior experience.  Most 18Xs have a college degree and are in good physical condition as a result of college sports activities.

3-D.  Three dimensional.

5Ws.  Who, What, Where, When, Why.
